About Calis

Calis is situated to the north-west of Fethiye town centre and just 45km from Dalaman Airport. A very popular town for both full time residents and visitors. Fethiye has a very cosmopolitan population and this is refelceted inthe range of foods available as well as cultural activities. Popular with both Turks and foreign nationals, the community enjoys free access to a long beach and is famous for its sunsets, wind-surfing and kite-boarding.

Average temperatures in July and August are around 32C while winter temperatures rarely drop below 10C.

The community has its own Sunday market, doctors’ surgeries,bakers, chemists, supermarkets, numerous shops and a popular seaside promenade lined with bars and restaurants.
