Nearby bays and coves and the famous 12 islands boast crystal-clear Mediterranean waters fringed by green pine forests and dotted with secluded beaches, many of which are only accessible by boat.
The town itself is also home to a good selection of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and small independent businesses catering to both land-based visitors and sea-faring tourists visiting the harbour.
