These three bungalows for sale in Kalkan are superb-quality buildings – each with their own swimming pool – and have been newly completed in 2019.
Offering private, fully-furnished accommodation for a large family or as a buy-to-let investment, all bedrooms include en-suite bathrooms. Each home also has direct access to gardens and a pool.
Offered for sale together, the properties are located on a 2,500 sqm plot close to the village of Islamlar. Constructed with the best-quality materials, the high ceilings in each home add to the sense of space.
Bungalow One and Two are almost identical and cover 120 sqm. They include large living rooms and two bedrooms each as well as open-plan kitchens, fitted with high-quality appliances. All the properties include a central heating system and air-conditioning for year-round comfort.
Bungalow Three has one bedroom and includes 90 sqm of living space. It also includes a fitted, open-plan kitchen.
All three bungalows have a private swimming pool of their own, a garden and secluded terraces surrounded by pine forest. The village of Islamlar itself is just 1.5km away while the Mediterranean harbour town of Kalkan is just ten minutes away by car.
Should you wish to know more about these properties or the potential rental income, please contact us for more information.
Islamlar was established as a farming community known for producing grapes and fruit but, more recently, tourism has also become a significant industry.
The village retains much of its charm but restaurants offering both seafood and traditional Turkish dishes have also sprung up. More shops have also opened to serve local needs – although both Kalkan and Kas are not too far away.
Kalkan is a harbour town on the Turkish Mediterranean coast not yet overdeveloped to cater for huge numbers of visitors.
The town is part of the famous Turquoise Coast and within easy reach of well-known historical sites. These include the beach and ruins at Patara – reputed to be the birthplace of St Nicholas – and Kaputas Beach, which are both close by.
Although in the Antalya province, Kalkan is more closely related to Fethiye. It was first established as a fishing port and the only safe harbour between Kaş and Fethiye. White-washed houses descend to the sea, many adorned with brightly-coloured bougainvillea.
The town averages 300 days of sunshine a year. Visitors are mostly those looking for a more relaxed or romantic destination rather than the bright lights of some of the bigger resorts.
Members of the KHI team can speak English, Turkish or Portuguese. We have offices in Fethiye, Bodrum and Istabul as well as Lisbon and Edinburgh.
