To enter this 2-storey villa you do so from where the car is securely parked. Walk down the few stone steps and this bring you on to the edge of the garden area. This area immediately opens up onto a small outdoor storage shed and also a small shaded seating area. From this area you will find the entrance to the property.

Once you step into the entrance of this large property you will find a w.c. and next to that there is a utility room. Directly opposite is a spacious lounge area with room for a dining table at one end of the room. The fully-equipped kitchen is partially separate from this room.

About Uzumlu

Uzumlu is a small, traditional village a 15-minute drive from Fethiye in south-west Turkey.

The community is known for its stone houses and narrow winding streets, its also where life is centred around the old village square. The locals often gather for a chat over a glass of tea and a game of backgammon.

The village centre also offers a selection of shops, restaurants and bars and hosts a weekly market selling fresh fruit and vegetables – many picked in local fields.

A little off the beaten track, the village is also surrounded by forested mountains. However, it’s still within easy reach of some of south-west Turkey’s best-known tourist attractions.

For example, the famous beach resort at Oludeniz, the marinas at Gocek, and the popular and picturesque town of Dalyan are all nearby.
