Oludeniz is a small touristic Village located just 13kms from Fethiye Town Centre and 4km from Hisaronu/Ovacik. Oludeniz, which is also known as the Blue Lagoon, is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Turkey and is also home to one of the most photographed beaches in the world. The strip in Oludeniz is home to some stunning Restaurants with fantastic sea and beach views as well as family friendly bars were you can take in the beautiful sunsets and dance the night away.

The valley is located on the edge of Babadag mountain which is popular with Paragliders from all over the world due to its fantastic views and weather conditions. Oludeniz also holds the Air games every year in October when people come from all over the world to participate in watch the fantastic displays on offer.
The beach is split into 2 parts. The Belcekiz beach which is the main public beach that can can be used freely and without charge unless you hire a sun lounger there and then there is the blue lagoon which is protected by the National Heritage Trust. To enter the blue lagoon there is a small fee and thereafter you may rent a sun lounger if you wish but this is optional.
In the Lagoon the water is calm all year round and is quite shallow on the inner part of the lagoon making it very child friendly. The weather in Oludeniz is very hot in the summer and can reach over 40c degrees while in the winter, temperatures can average between 14-16 degrees. You can enjoy swimming from May all the way through to November in Oludeniz with the warm Sea temperatures.
On the rear side, the lagoon is also home to some very nice private beach clubs which give beach users the choice of basking in luxury whilst enjoying some top quality cuisine with table service and even lodges to stay in overnight.
