Uzumlu is located 16 km from Fethiye and known locally for its annual festivals celebrating mushrooms and wine. Indeed, you can find grapevines entwined around many of the properties around Uzumlu. As a result many refer to the area as Turkey’s Tuscany. A little off the beaten track, the village is surrounded by forested mountains. However, it’s still within easy reach of some of south-west Turkey’s best-known tourist attractions. For example, the famous beach resort at Oludeniz, the marinas at Gocek, and the popular and picturesque town of Dalyan are all nearby.

The entrance to this property is from the front and as you go through the door you will find a corridor that leads you past a storage area and a family bathroom and on the other side there is an L-shaped open-plan living area consisting of a newly fitted modern kitchen and a large lounge area. This area has large windows that lets the natural light flood in to this spacious area. You can also gain access to the closed in balcony from the doors in the kitchen area or from the lounge area.

The closed balcony is spacious and has a dining table for 6 people and also a very nice area for comfortable seating. The glass windows work on a remote control which is excellent for hot and cold days. It also runs alongside the pool. Additionally, this area has a BBQ so great for entertaining.

Continuing on from the living area there are 3 nice sized bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have their own en-suite and the other has use of the family bathroom. The master bedroom also enjoys its own dressing room and large patio doors that lead onto the closed balcony.

Outside the garden is low maintenance as it is paved and pebbled. The pool has an area around it where you can place sunbeds and parasols. Additionally, there is an outside shower and some mature fruit trees. Opposite the pool in the middle of the garden there is a shaded area which would be an excellent place to enjoy a nice cold drink out of the heat. In addition, the property is surrounded by a stone built wall giving a little bit more privacy.
