And the award goes to …. Us!

It’s with some pride that we can now describe ourselves as an award-winning estate agency.

We’ve done the London ceremony, had our gong handed over and we can now take a bow as the best single-office estate agency in Turkey.

But, while just three of us were at European Property Awards at the Royal Lancaster Hotel earlier this month, we were all very much aware it was not the result of our work alone.

Keyholders International is nothing if not a team – and that includes not only all our staff in Fethiye but all our suppliers and all our clients who are also a huge part of our story.

Of course, it’s at moments like this when it could be tempting to go off on an Oscar-style acceptance address, listing the individuals who deserve recognition.

But the truth is that every single person who has every worked alongside us or engaged our services is part of our story.

We’ve been hugely fortunate to have had some tremendous feedback but even the rare brickbats have played a part in forging who were are today – and, according to the International Property Awards blurb, we are now a member of an exclusive club who can “celebrate the highest levels of achievement by companies operating in all sectors of the property and real estate industry”.

So thank you – all of you – for being part of what we are today and hope to continue being in the years ahead.

So what exactly did we win?

Background on the awards is available here but, in short, they were founded in the mid-1990’s to recognise companies and individuals doing good work in both the residential and commercial property markets around the globe.

Split into regions including Africa, Asia, Canada, the Caribbean, the Americas, Europe and the UK, agents enter the relevant national region and are judged by a panel of peers from across the industry.

Winners can then use the prestigious award brand in their marketing and are then put forward for the international awards, which define the globe’s best practitioners.

We have been recognised as the best of our size in Turkey and can therefore say so on our website, in our communications with clients and partners, and in all our communications.

This is the first opportunity we’ve had so we hope you can forgive a little indulgence – but we would assure our customers there is no complacency here.
